We are proud to announce the workshop: "Genocide Denial: History, Tactics, and Response", which will be held on July 4, 2025 at the Rectorate of the University of Sarajevo.

This workshop is the result of international cooperation between the Institute for the Research of Crimes against Humanity and International Law of the University of Sarajevo, the Genocide Studies Program of Yale University and the Student Parliament of the University of Sarajevo.

The focus of the workshop will be a historical overview, contemporary strategies of genocide denial in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the responses of the academic community to this increasingly present challenge.

We place special focus on the transfer of knowledge to students and we want to bring their interests closer through this activity, establishing cooperation with the most prestigious universities in the world. This cooperation is a confirmation of the Institute's international position as the most significant scientific institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of scientific study of genocide.
